What made you to become a designer?

I am curious and loved to evaluate and develop new projects in different perspectives from the beginning on. My passion is architecture and Graphic design and was trying to find something in between. In product design I do find both aspects.

As a maker, where do you find inspiration for creating new things?

When you are looking for inspiration you become sensitive to all the beauty around you. That makes every object a potential source of inspiration and influence for me and my designs.

Which direction do you see yourself going in the future?

At the moment i love to create holistic atmospheres in working on interior design projects

What are the ingredients for great design and what's really exciting you at the moment in design?

Curiosity and finding new possibilities of materials and forms. I try to develop sensitive and soulful objects that aim to ease crazy daily life.

What really excites me is working and developing ideas with great Ninjas!

 The story behind the Product:

The first inspiration for Zick Zack was a tablecloth! The lines are abstract tassels. I wanted to create a table from a single sheet, simple but extraordinary. On one hand very clear and graphic with the shape on the other playful and interesting. Due to the negative spaces Zick Zack transforms the room into a amusing  light and shadow play.
